Lynda Pauley: Slow Gait: Imperator with Don Harris Signed & Numbered Limited Edition Print

In celebration of our new Spotlight Exhibit featuring artist Lynda Pauley, we are excited to offer a limited number of vintage Slow Gait: Imperator with Don Harris prints. Each print from this 1983 pastel on paper work has been preserved in pristine condition and is signed, numbered, and titled by the artist.

From the artist:

In 1982 or ‘83 while exhibiting my art at the International Arabian Horse Show in Louisville, a fellow artist and I decided while in Kentucky we would visit the Don Harris Stables. Well, we just went; didn't call, didn't ask – and obviously didn't think! We get there and the parking lot is full of high-end cars, so obviously something important is going on. Greeted at the entry we learn they were having a press party for the Governor and that we were welcome to attend for $12. Well, ok!  In we went! We met the Governor, Mrs. Harris, and looked around hoping we would at least see Imperator in his stall. No sooner did they announce that Don was bringing Imperator for the Governor to see in the front driveway! He rode Imperator up and down the drive and I took all the photos I could manage. I got my reference photos along with a great story that I will never forget!
