Invite Feathered Friends to Stay a While!
Make lasting companions of your fine-feathered friends with this truly unique bird box. Made to resemble a traditional rural mailbox with its fiberglass cover, it features a beautiful image of Chester Dare by famed equine artist George Ford Morris.
A Touch of American Saddlebred History for Your Garden
The artwork featured on both sides of the bird box is from a painting in the American Saddlebred Museum’s permanent collection. Chester Dare was a significant sire of the late 1800s, widely regarded as one of the most influential of the Denmark family. It was said that every horse he sired bore a telltale patch of gray or white hairs on their flanks.
It’s That Simple to Start Bird-Watching!
Start out using it as a feeder with the door open. Once the birds feel at home, they’ll start to nest—and return year after year. A charming and meaningful addition to any yard or garden.
To install: Purchase a round 1” x 7 ft. pole, drive it into the ground, and use the included hardware to mount the bird box using the pre-drilled holes.
